Miley Ray Cyrus born Destiny Hope Cyrus on 23rd November in 1992 is an American artist, singer, and actress. Noted for her distinctive vocals that are raspy, her music incorporates elements from a variety of genres and styles, such as pop, country pop, hip hop, experimental, and rock. Cyrus has had the highest number of US Billboard 200 top-five albums in the 21st Century by an artist of female origin, with thirteen albums. Her private life, public imageand performance often provoked controversy and garnered extensive media attention. Cyrus is the daughter of Billy Ray Cyrus country music singer, became an idol when she was a teenager, playing the main character on Disney Channel's Hannah Montana (2006-2011). She was Hannah Montana's first and third-five top-five soundtracks, and also the US Billboard Hot 100 Top-ten single "He Could be the One." Cyrus's personal discography includes US top albums Meet Miley Cyrus (2007), Breakout (2008), and Bangerz (2013) as well as the top five releases are Can't be Tamed (2010) Younger Now (2017), Plastic Hearts (2020) and the free album Miley Cyrus and Her Dead Petz (2015). Cyrus's EPs The Time of Our Lives (2009) and She Is Coming (2019) also debuted among the top five. Plastic Hearts became Cyrus's most loved album and debut entry onto the Billboard Rock Chart, debuting on top of the chart. The album featured the lead single "Midnight Sky". Other singles she has released include "See You Again", the US number one "7 Things", and "Party in America." "Party in America" is her third charting top ten single. "Party in America" includes "Can't Be Tamed", We Can't Stop", Malibu, and "Without You". "Party in the U.S.A." was certified as a Diamond by the Recording Industry Association of America. Cyrus's achievements include appearances on the Time 100 in 2008 and 2014, MTV’s Best Artist of 2013 Award and placement on Billboard’s Greatest of All Time Artists list for the year 2019. She is often regarded as one of the few examples of successful child actors-turned-singers. Cyrus was an actor and was featured in Bolt (2008), Hannah Montana: The Movie (2010) and The Last Song (2010). Cyrus was a coach on The Voice for two seasons and also appeared in "Rachel, Jack and Ashley Too", a Netflix episode of Black Mirror (2019). Cyrus is an ardent advocate for animal rights. She embraced a vegan diet in the year 2014. In 2014, she established the Happy Hippie Foundation which focuses on the homeless youth as well as the LGBT community.
